  • In-depth study of the conquest and occupation of Canaan.
Job
  • In-depth study of the book of Job.
Psalms
  • Study of the book emphasizing key psalms.
Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther
  • Comparative study of these post-captivity books.
Minor Prophets
  • Collective study of the shorter books at the end of the Old Testament.
Acts
  • Study of the acts of the apostles in the early church.
Romans
  • Verse by verse study of the epistle.
I Corinthians
  • Verse by verse study of the epistle.
II Corinthians
  • Verse by verse study of the epistle.
Pastoral Epistles
  • In-depth study of I and II Timothy and Titus.
Hebrews
  • Verse by verse study of the epistle.
Revelation
  • Verse-by-verse study of the book focusing on end-time fulfillment.
  • NOTE: For this course, there is an extra charge for an additional 8-tape series on the prophecies of Daniel, with workbook.
Examining the Bible
  • Study of the formation, canonization, and translation of the biblical manuscripts.
Homiletics
  • Sermon preparation and delivery.
Hermeneutics
  • Principles of biblical interpretation.
Persuasive Reasoning
  • Study of the principles of logical argument. Course will include information regarding formal and informal argument, claims and evidence, analogy, fallacies in reasoning, rhetoric, and syllogisms.
  • This course is highly recommended for anyone who teaches the Word as it will help one to support his or her position with valid arguments and will also help one to recognize the fallacies in false or misleading teachings.
Introduction to Counseling, part 1
  • Study of the various aspects of personal counseling, including understanding addictions, ministering to abuse victims, an overview of the most common disorders, counseling troubled adolescents, identifying cognitive distortions, treating depression, etc.
  • Each graduate to receive a counseling certificate.
Introduction to Counseling, part 2
  • Continuing instruction in the various aspects of personal counseling, including dealing with phobias and anxieties, managing anger, personality disorders, counseling ethics, understanding therapeutic boundaries, grief and loss, etc.
  • Part 1 (listed immediately above) helpful but not required.
  • Each graduate to receive a counseling certificate.
Demonology
  • Study of the nature and activity of demons with practical instruction in the ministry of deliverance.
The Church
  • Biblical portrait of the church with emphasis on the five-fold ministry.
Understanding Spiritual Abuse
  • How to identify unhealthy patterns of spiritual leadership.
Understanding Addiction
  • An overview of chemical addictions, their description, causes, and effects. This course will also examine various clinical and faith-based treatment models.
  • This course is approved for 20 contact hours for Licensed Professional Counselors, Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Therapon graduates.
Addictions Counseling
  • How to counsel those struggling with addictions. Course will include an overview of treatment models.
  • This course is approved for 20 contact hours for Licensed Professional Counselors, Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Therapon graduates.
About correspondence courses
Taping a class Each correspondence course consists of 3 CDs, or 20 audiocassettes, containing all of the lectures for that course plus a fully outlined notebook. All tests and exams for the course are included and are sealed in the back of the workbook.
