Koinonia Bible College: Get a degree

About KBC degree programs
KBC student Koinonia Bible College offers five degree programs:
  • General Studies Diploma
  • Biblical Studies Diploma
  • Associate Degree of Ministry
  • Bachelor of Theology
  • Master of Theology
Some students choose to work toward a degree, others don't. Either way is fine. However, if you do decide to pursue a degree, or even if you're thinking about it, please let KBC know as soon as possible, and stay in touch as you continue your studies.
General Studies diploma
You must complete 8 courses, 4 of which must cover books of the Bible, with at least a "C" average.
Biblical Studies diploma
You must complete 12 courses with at least a "C" average. The 9 courses listed below are required and must be completed with a passing grade. You may choose 3 electives. Electives offered vary from one quarter to the next; for samples of the types of electives typically offered, visit the correspondence course page. Of course, you can take electives on-campus, as well as by correspondence.

  • Genesis
  • Psalms
  • The Life of Christ
  • Acts
  • Romans
  • I Corinthians
  • Revelation
  • Hermeneutics
Associate Degree of Ministry
Beyond the requirements for the Biblical Studies diploma, you must also complete 12 additional courses with at least a "C" average. The 9 courses listed below are required and must be completed with a passing grade. You may choose 3 electives.
  • Exodus through Deuteronomy
  • The Kings of Israel and Judah
  • Isaiah
  • II Corinthians
  • Galatians through II Thessalonians
  • Hebrews
  • The Tabernacle of Moses
  • Practical Evangelism
  • The Church
Bachelor of Theology
Beyond the requirements for the Associate Degree of Ministry, you must also complete 12 additional courses with at least a "C" average. The 9 courses listed below are required and must be completed with a passing grade. You may choose 3 electives. In addition, you must also pass a two-part English usage exam, covering grammar and composition. Any candidate failing to pass either section may be required to take English usage courses.

Master of Theology
Beyond the requirements for the Bachelor of Theology, you must also complete the 10 courses listed below with a passing grade, plus one elective, and a master's thesis.
